Canadian Visual Analytics Summer School

The 6th Canadian Visual Analytics School (CANVAS) will take place July 19-20, 2017, at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC. CANVAS is an annual visual analytics summer school / conference held by members and partners of the Canadian Network of Visual Analytics Centres (CANVAC). The CANVAS Summer School series provides Canadian students from CANVAC member universities with an opportunity to learn about visual analytics (VA) from both academic and industry experts in the VA field. The two-day summer school includes lectures, keynotes and panels with industry, non-profit and academic experts in the field, as well as hands-on workshops for a focused VA learning experience for participating students.
